This blog was created to be a safe place for those who have, unfortunately, experience sexual assault and abuse. This blog was inspired by (Wo)men Speak Out, but is in no way intended to steal the spotlight from them. That is a wonderful orginization, who is making a huge difference in the world. This is simply another effort to make survivors of sexual assault feel safe when speaking out against their abuse.

Get Help.

We strongly recommend that you get help if you have experienced such a traumatic experience as Abuse, Sexual or Not.

Talk to your Parents, if you feel comfortable. Friends, if you want and even Teachers! If none of these will do it for you, We suggest you call a Hotline. Hotlines are very helpful. There are Depression hotlines, Abuse Hotlines and More. You do not give out your name and you get the chance to talk to a professional counsellour on the phone, or on one to one chat, anytime you want.

These are non-judgemental people with fantastic advice.

Here are Some links:

American Hotline: http://www.rainn.org/

European Hotline: http://www.childline.org.uk/Pages/Home.aspx

These are Just some. But if you live in another country, such as Asia for example, You can look up “Hotline, Asia” in your search engine and they offer alot.

If you feel ready, It is also a good idea to search for a counsellor in your area that you can talk to face to face. Theres school counsellours and also others too! Just look up your area and find some.

Therapy is hard but very benefiticial. Alot of Survivors choose to participate in it. And alot choose not to. Everyone is different. but everyone can Heal. It just takes time and a Therapist can help alot during your journey of healing.

If you have any more questions about Hotlines or Counselling. Please Ask us! We are glad to help <3
